Private Client Stylist — Luxury Menswear (Part-Time | Commission-Based) — New Albany

We are seeking an experienced Private Client Stylist to join our luxury menswear retail location in New Albany. This role is designed for a polished, relationship-driven menswear professional who specializes in building long-term client wardrobes and delivering a truly personalized, high-touch shopping experience.

This is a fully commission-based opportunity best suited for a stylist or senior sales professional with an established client book, strong local relationships, and a passion for premium menswear.


Role Overview

As a Private Client Stylist, you will act as a trusted wardrobe advisor to your clients — helping them build complete looks for business, formal, social, and everyday wear. Success in this role comes from cultivating relationships, hosting private appointments, and proactively growing your personal book of business.


Key Responsibilities

  • Provide one-on-one luxury styling consultations and wardrobe planning

  • Build and maintain long-term client relationships based on trust and service

  • Leverage your existing network and actively develop new high-value clients

  • Schedule and host private appointments and personalized shopping experiences

  • Guide clients on fit, tailoring, fabrics, occasion dressing, and seasonal wardrobe updates

  • Maintain detailed client preferences, sizing, and purchase history

  • Participate in VIP events, trunk shows, and client outreach initiatives

  • Ensure the showroom and presentation reflect premium luxury standards


Ideal Candidate

  • 5+ years experience in men’s luxury or premium apparel retail

  • Proven strength in clienteling and relationship-based selling

  • Existing transferable client book strongly preferred

  • Strong knowledge of tailoring, garment construction, and luxury fabrics

  • Professional, polished, and service-oriented demeanor

  • Entrepreneurial mindset and comfortable in a performance-driven commission environment

  • Ability to work part-time including key selling periods


Compensation
